The topic of my PhD focuses on the production of metallic nanoparticles (silver, gold) and the characterization of the obtained nanomaterials using advanced measurement techniques in order to correlate their chemical composition with biological activity, especially
in the antiviral direction. The main research techniques that I use in my work are: Zeta potential measurement, TEM/SEM electron microscopy, UV-VIS, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy, and DLS scattered light intensity measurement.

My research focuses on obtaining, modifying, and characterising metallic nanomaterials using techniques: UV-VIS and FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM / TEM electron microscopy, DLS scattered light intensity measurement, and Zeta potential measurement.
I use the synthesized silver nanowires to produce flexible, transparent electrodes. I also investigate the possibility of using AgNWs @ MeOX as photocatalysts for decomposing organic air pollutants.
